EFRIS EXPLAINED | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT EFRIS

The government of Uganda alongside URA has recently introduced EFRIS (Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing Solution and also added it to it's web portal. This solution has been introduced to solve the problem of VAT FRAUD, reduce the cost of compliance and ease business transactions in Uganda. EFIS has a number of option provided for users to generate their e-invoices and e-receipts without fail;

NOTE It is mandatory for every taxpayer registered with VAT to use EFRIS.
